I Call Fives | With The Punches | Real Friends at The Garage

The Garage is hosting another national tour this weekend!  Along with the ever important Hootenanny, on Sunday The Garage will play host to  New Jersey’s I Call Fives for the Minnesota stop of their fall tour.  Along with them, will be New York’s With The Punches, and Real Friends along with some local, Molly’s Worst Enemy and Charlie Siren.  There is still time to purchase you tickets for this show, $8 in advance, or $10 at the door on Sunday!  Let us know you’re going by joining the event on Facebook.

I Call Fives are making straight up honest and good music; this is what it should be about.  They have been a band since 2006 and have released their self-titled LP via Pure Noise Records.  They kicked off this tour in their home state less than two weeks ago and it will continue through to November 18, finishing in Massachusetts.

With The Punches has been a band since 2008 and released their first full-length title Seams& Stitches this past summer through Doghouse Records.  After their tour with I Call Fives, the band will be joining Me Vs Hero on a short United Kingdom tour before finishing up their touring for the year with Hit The Lights.  Not too bad for a band on their first full-length.

Local favorites Molly’s Worst Enemy will join the touring bands on Sunday as well.  MWE has played at many other venues in the Twin Cities area building up their fanbase and give good reason to support the local music scene.  Local Charlie Siren will also be playing, and will be fresh off of a few shows in North Dakota and Wisconsin.  Charlie Siren is offering their EP for free download so be sure to check them out before they stop by The Garage.

Don’t forget that the 2012 Hootenanny is this weekend.  Every year, the Hootenanny is one of the largest drawing shows at The Garage.  If you are a fan of Royal Ace, be sure to catch this show, as it will be the bands final performance.
